A career counseling process is obviously tailor-made because everyone brings a unique talent set, attaches importance to other matters in life and work, and makes choices in their own way. Such a process includes a number of fixed components (intake, tests, etc.), but your specific questions and goals are the starting point. You remain in control.
The insights you gain are valuable in themselves, but without an action plan they run the risk of "dying in beauty". That is why AaT ensures that you have a substantiated and thorough plan of action at the end of your career (re)orientation: your personal Talent Development Plan.
To this end, AaT uses in addition to Discover other coaching resources and methods that have proven their value:including career values and anchors, GROW model (goal, reality, options, will), Appreciative Inquiry, RET, ACT and mind mapping. If a recent assessment report is available, which has not (yet) been adequately followed up, AaT can assess if possibly a career counseling program based on that report can be initiated.
What does Career Counseling bring - for you?
WHAT DOES PERFORMANCE COACHING BRING - FOR EMPLOYERS?
In the current turbulent times, organizations and companies are often perceived as complex and employees at all levels wonder whether the work they do still offers satisfaction and suitable prospects. Doubts about the content and meaning of their work will ultimately be detrimental to motivation. Good career guidance enables employees to organize their thoughts and creates clarity in making choices. When they can get more out of themselves, they will be extra motivated to do their work with dedication and pleasure, even in difficult circumstances.
AaT's Career Counseling gives managers/employers a tool that provides insight into the talents and motivators of their employee(s), 'manages' expectations, saves them a lot of time and provides direction for development investments. Having talents professionally guided sends a strong signal that managers want to retain these employees in the organization.
Career guidance is a 'process' and tailor-made. All about Talent does not believe in 'quick fixes', but is committed and involved, focused on sustainable improvement and solutions. The duration of these processes and frequency of the sessions are determined in consultation with the client; the conversations take place on average every four to five weeks.
